When I first created the FuZZieMiNTs project roadmap, I made sure to not attach any of my deliverables to the % of NFTs sold.
This is because I knew my community was small and my reach was limited. But what I also knew is that both my community and my reach would grow. And the only true way of organic growth is to continue building something amazing.
Well the launch of $FZBT is testament to this fact. We are 10% minted but delivering like a sold-out world-class project.
This article is about the launch specifics as well as a “how-to” on collecting FZBT and using it to claim utility.
We launched $FZBT on 26th Dec 2021, the day after christmas, along with our first utility of naming. And since late December is the time of joy and giving, we decided to pair this launch with 3 unique gifts.

Everyone who claims their tokens in 2021 gets a bonus 500 tokens

Everyone who mints a fuzziemint in 2021 automatically accumulates tokens passively (10 per day) starting from 1st October 2021

We released $FZBT on the polygon network which requires matic for gas fees (minimal compared to ETH chain at just cents)
Since this might be inconvenient for holders, we set up a “matic-fairy” in our discord group, where any holder could request matic and would be sent 0.01 matic to claim their $FZBT and name their FuZZieMiNT.

Next you need to make sure that you have the Matic/Polygon Mainnet added to your Metamask and have a small amount of Matic (you can get this from our matic-fairy in discord)
How to add Matic Network
- Open Metamask and click on Settings (click on your profile to tab)
- Click on Networks > Add Network and Key in the below details:
Network Name: Matic Mainnet
New RPC URL: https://rpc-mainnet.maticvigil.com/
ChainID: 137
Symbol: MATIC
Block Explorer URL: https://explorer.matic.network/

How to claim FZBT
- Go to https://fuzziemints.com/ and click on the “family room” tab.
- Once you have navigated to the Fuzzie Family page, you will need to be on the Ethereum mainnet (on Metamask) to connect your wallet and load your fuzziemints.
- The site will calculate your available Fuzzbits to claim based on all the Fuzziemints in your wallet (This may include bonus amounts)
- Click on the claim button to claim your fuzziemints. At this point, you will be prompted to switch to the Polygon network on your metamask
- You will then be prompted to claim the tokens (requires Matic for gas)
- Once claimed, you can add the FZBT token to your Metamask by clicking on the “Add FZBT to Metamask” button
Checking Unclaimed FuZZBiT
If you are planning on buying a FuZZieMiNT on the secondary market, you can check if they have unclaimed FZBT by entering the FuZZieMiNT number.
How to name your FuZZieMiNT
- Enter the name you wish in the input box
- Click on the “Name It” button
- If it is the first time you are renaming one of your Fuzziemints, you will be prompted to approve the contract to spend your Fuzzbits (will require gas). You only need to do this once
- Once approved, you will be prompted to approve the renaming (will require gas)
- Once transaction has been confirmed, your fuzziemint has now been renamed! If the name is not reflected, refresh the page to show the new name.
- You can then navigate to your NFT on opensea and refresh metadata. Your FuZZieMiNT name will be updated as well as the level number in properties!

Now I know you may have some questions, so I prepared this little FAQ for you.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (before you ask them)
How often can I collect my FZBT?
FuZZieMiNTs collect FZBT passively every day. You can choose to collect whenever you wish. We recommend once a month or when a new utility is available to claim. It requires a gas fee whenever you claim, but since we are in the polygon network this is minimal.
The amount of tokens claimed do not affect the amount of gas fee. So whether you collect 10 or 10,000 your transaction fee will pretty much remain the same.
Can I claim a partial amount of $FZBT? You can claim the full amount only for all your FuZZieMiNTs. We understand that you may want to reserve some FuZZieMiNTs to sell and would not want to claim. In that case, we suggest sending that FuZZie to a different wallet.
Can I sell $FZBT or swap it for other currencies? $FZBT is a utility token. Currently, you can only use it to claim utility within the FuZZieMiNT ecosystem and will be able to use it as in-game currency. Future plans are in place to list $FZBT on exchanges, but this is a long process. So it pays to get in early and reap the rewards later.
I’ve named my FuZZieMiNT, so how do I check the FuZZieMiNT number to see the rarity rankings etc.? All FuZZieMiNT numbers will be available under the “description” tab in opensea and under the details tab as “token id”.
I can’t see the claimed FZBT or the token in my metamask. Make sure to use the “Add FZBT to metamask” button and then approve the token to be added.
What’s the point of naming a FuZZieMiNT? Oh so much point! — Have a unique utility that not many NFTs have — Participate to win prizes in our upcoming naming competition — Level up your NFT to level 2. Level FuZZies accrue more $FZBT per day, go up in rarity rankings, and will have advantage in the upcoming game. This is a unique innovation.
What other utility is coming up? The next claim will be of your matching FuZZieMiNT 3d model that is AR and metaverse ready. Other utility such as a new companion NFT, merging your NFTs, and access to other projects is also in the works. Some claims will allow you to level up your NFTs and some will be non-levelup utility.
